Karen Chekan

Accounting Manager

Karen Chekan, is the Accounting Manager at Ametra. Before joining Ametra, Karen ran her own Accounting Services company working with start-up companies. The majority of Karen’s career has been in the auditing field at USX Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Ernst & Young LLP. Her auditing background has provided her with a strong knowledge of internal controls and best practices. Her goal is to help our clients understand how to interpret their financial results and use these results when making business decisions.

Chekan received her Bachelor of Science dual degree in Business Administration-Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS) from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA. She also received her Master’s degree in MIS at Duquesne.
